Il nuovo cd “The Joan Deary Tapes – Volume 1” contiene diversi mix e alcuni outtakes mai pubblicati prima e rappresenta l’inizio di una nuovissima serie di CD. Queste novità trovate un paio di anni fa nella collezione personale di Joan Deary, sono state digitalizzate e ora sono disponibili in questo primo volume.  

Tra le novità c’è una versione funky e diversa in cui Elvis canta l’inedita take 7 di “If You Don’t Come Back”, un nuovissimo outtake del medley “Nothingville – Guitar Man” dal Comeback Special del ’68, alcuni mix molto diversi come ” Why Me Lord ” dal famigerato “Recorded Live On Stage In Memphis” e una straordinaria “Amazing Grace”.

Ogni traccia ha una qualità audio eccezionale ed è stata rimasterizzata. Il cd è presentato in confezione digipack ed è pieno di note di copertina, informazioni e nuovissime foto inedite.
L’etichetta ha già annunciato l’uscita del volume 2.
